The inspector, Derek Lewis, that came to our newly built home was very knowledgeable, personable, and uncovered some items that needed to be corrected prior to closing. The inspection report was very thorough and detailed. I also met with the inspector towards the end and they were able to take me through all the major concerns that needed to be addressed which gave me a clear understanding for why it was a problem and what would be considered a fix. It was well worth the money and also made home owners orientation a breeze as they also highlighted cosmetic issues. I will definitely recommend WayPoint in the future as well as use them on future home inspections. It is a plus if you get Derek as you'll be in good hands.

We were closing on our first new construction home and getting ready for our final walkthrough when someone suggested we get a 3rd party to inspect as well. 3 families in the community we are moving into, all suggested Waypoint. I was worried the one week notice would not be enough but when I called, I was greeted by Laurie who couldn't have been nicer. She walked me through the process and within minutes I had an email with some brief questions to answer and she scheduled the inspection for the following week. She even called our construction manager to let him know they would be coming and confirm a good time.The inspection was thorough and I received the copy a few hours after it was done. We feel so much better now that we are armed with the things they discovered and we can go in to our walk through comparing what was found. Thank you so much for making this process easy and taking away some of our stress.

The best choice we made when building. Our inspector was always on time (actually early, he always beat me there!) he spent hours checking every single thing, all the sockets, the appliances, climbing on the roof and into the attic. Amazing attention to detail! Highly recommend!!

Waypoint Property Inspection saved the day! At such short notice, Eddy was able to respond and made it possible for us to have a Final Inspection done. He did a very thorough job, his attention to detail is topnotch and pointed out every detail that needs to be addressed by the builder. Plus, we got some bonus knowledge from him as he was kind enough to point out some things that could help us in maintaining the house once we move in. We got the Inspection Report later in the day, and it was presented in a manner that it was concise and easy to decipher. Waypoint and Inspector Jim were absolutely professional and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. We ran into several scheduling delays from the home builder, but Waypoint continued with frequent communication and accommodated our requests. We even needed a follow up inspection, again due to builder error, which was completed super quick and in time for closing. Jim was thorough and explained every issue he came across. Pictures and the report were done same day. Thank you for everything!!!

Waypoint Inspection and Jim Parsons in particular conducted a home inspection for me two days ago. The review was thorough and detailed and Jim did a great job of explaining his entire report when he had concluded. I was impressed by how informed he was concerning all aspects of the house but especially thankful for how willing he was to explain all the details to a first-time home buyer.
