The inspector, Derek Lewis, that came to our newly built home was very knowledgeable, personable, and uncovered some items that needed to be corrected prior to closing. The inspection report was very thorough and detailed. I also met with the inspector towards the end and they were able to take me through all the major concerns that needed to be addressed which gave me a clear understanding for why it was a problem and what would be considered a fix. It was well worth the money and also made home owners orientation a breeze as they also highlighted cosmetic issues. I will definitely recommend WayPoint in the future as well as use them on future home inspections. It is a plus if you get Derek as you'll be in good hands.

We were closing on our first new construction home and getting ready for our final walkthrough when someone suggested we get a 3rd party to inspect as well. 3 families in the community we are moving into, all suggested Waypoint. I was worried the one week notice would not be enough but when I called, I was greeted by Laurie who couldn't have been nicer. She walked me through the process and within minutes I had an email with some brief questions to answer and she scheduled the inspection for the following week. She even called our construction manager to let him know they would be coming and confirm a good time.The inspection was thorough and I received the copy a few hours after it was done. We feel so much better now that we are armed with the things they discovered and we can go in to our walk through comparing what was found. Thank you so much for making this process easy and taking away some of our stress.

The best choice we made when building. Our inspector was always on time (actually early, he always beat me there!) he spent hours checking every single thing, all the sockets, the appliances, climbing on the roof and into the attic. Amazing attention to detail! Highly recommend!!

Waypoint Property Inspection saved the day! At such short notice, Eddy was able to respond and made it possible for us to have a Final Inspection done. He did a very thorough job, his attention to detail is topnotch and pointed out every detail that needs to be addressed by the builder. Plus, we got some bonus knowledge from him as he was kind enough to point out some things that could help us in maintaining the house once we move in. Waypoint and Inspector Jim were absolutely professional and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. We ran into several scheduling delays from the home builder, but Waypoint continued with frequent communication and accommodated our requests. There were a few things I didn't understand on the report. Travis explained everything very thoroughly. I did have several follow up questions which Travis very calmly explained. He followed the report and completely described each comment both good (blue) and red (not to code) issues.
