The EPA states that 4 pCi/L (picocuries per liter of air) is the threshold for radon levels. Below 4 is considered safe and above 4 is considered elevated and should be addressed.

Our team is licensed by the state of Florida and uses an AirCat Continuous Monitor. It is more accurate than over the counter test kits that can be found at home improvement stores.
The AirCat monitor is placed in the home and collects readings for 48-72 hours. The home must be kept in “closed” condition to ensure the most accurate reading.
After sitting in the home for 48-72 hours, the readings are electronically sent to RadaLink, a Georgia based laboratory that is an industry leader in environmental testing.
RadaLink produces a detailed report within 24-48 hours of receiving the data. It documents the radon level in the home and RadaLink has support staff available for questions and guidance.
