Austin Hintze

After spending his first few years helping grow the marketing team and customer contact center, Austin focused heavily on Waypoint’s systems and IT to support growth before becoming CEO. When not working, he can be found road cycling or planning his next trip to Iceland.
Robert Hintze
Managing Director
Bob started Waypoint in 2005 and completed home inspection training at Kaplan Professional Schools/Inspection Training Associates. He is a Certified Master Inspector and a leader in education in the home inspection industry. When not working, he can be found hanging with his bud Jaycee.
Edward Lai
Managing Director
Eddy completed his home inspection training in 2007 with ITA-Kaplan University and the American Home Inspectors Training Institute. He is a Certified Master Inspector and led the creation of Waypoint’s inspector training course. He can be found at a dragon boat race when not working.
Mark Wahl
Managing Director
Mark started Waypoint East in 2006 after attending Kaplan Professional School/ITA. Mark is a Certified Master Inspector and a licensed Realtor Educator in the areas of home inspection. When Mark is not working, you can find him with his wife Jill or on a golf course.

Hooked on Hope, Inc., is a local, non-profit organization established in 2009 raising funds for uninsured and under insured breast cancer patients across all Tampa Bay Communities. This grass roots organization, managed entirely by a team of talented, dedicated volunteers, serves the breast cancer patients of Tampa Bay in a number of creative and effective ways.

The 1Voice Foundation supports children with cancer and their families by connecting them with financial, emotional and educational CARE while funding research for tomorrow’s CURE.

The Mission of the Angel Foundation is to partner with businesses and individuals to be a caring resource for families in our community experiencing temporary crisis due to a life threatening illness or catastrophic event.
