Waypoint Property Inspection, LLC was founded in Riverview, Florida in 2005. Bob Hintze, the founder, left the corporate world after decades of service and began to look for new opportunities. After doing extensive research, he saw a need for high quality service in the inspection industry and decided that this would be his next venture. Today, Waypoint has over 18 team members and continues to grow both in size and influence. Waypoint is seen as an industry leader through the level of service we provide, and we also coach other home inspection business owners on how to take our success and implement it into their own business. As our motto goes, “we point you in the right direction”.

Bob started Waypoint in 2005 and completed extensive home inspection training at Kaplan Professional Schools/Inspection Training Associates. He is a Certified Master Inspector and a business growth coach in the home inspection industry. When not working he can be found hanging with his bud Jaycee.

Eddy Lai

Eddy completed his home inspection training in 2007 with ITA-Kaplan University as well as with the American Home Inspectors Training Institute. He is a Certified Master Inspector and led the creation of Waypoint’s comprehensive inspector training course. When not working he can be found at a dragon boat (look it up) practice or race.

Austin Hintze

After spending his first few years helping grow the marketing team and customer contact center, Austin now manages Waypoint's systems and IT. Along with Bob he coaches home inspection companies on system implementation. When not working he can be found planning his next trip back to Iceland.
