WayPoint helped put my mind at ease offering a thorough unit inspection on a property we were under contract with. As a first time home buyer, I was quite nervous about the inspection process, but Waypoint made it a breeze! They did a full report with pictures and specific guidance to correct deficiencies. They also did an outside/inside air sample (came back right at the 24 hr mark) and coordinated a termite inspection with an external organization. They also offered us a military discount and understood the VA loan requirements!Derek, our inspector, was an absolute courteous and consummate professional during my inspection and would rate him higher if I could! This company and Derek have my business throughout my time in Tampa and will be handling all my home inspection needs!

We moved from California to St. Petersburg in late 2020. …So naturally, we were concerned about choosing the inspection company. Our realtor Frank recommended Waypoint for our home inspection in regards with purchasing our first house in Lutz. Our inspector was Derek Lewis. Inspection was scheduled at 1pm and Derek was already there inspecting the house. Considering that this is our first house, we really appreciated how thorough Derek was, pointing out issues that we would've never noticed on our own. As a Real Estate Broker/Realtor, I had the pleasure of meeting Jim Parsons, Inspector for Waypoint Property Inspection, LLC. I found Jim to be very thorough and knowledgeable. He took the time to discuss with my Buyers certain areas of concern after his inspection was complete and while they were still at the property. He submitted his written report that same day. It was easy to read and my Buyers knew exactly what issues they wanted to have resolved before closing. I would highly recommend this company.

They were quick to schedule the inspection, call back with the initial results and email back the report that night. Pictures were provided with the narrative.
The inspector forgot to add that it was a problem that he could not get to the hot water heater to inspect it or the main water shut off valve. So after I saw that it was missing on his report, he added it back onto it and resent the report back out.
He offered to go back and reinspect again after the access panel stripped screws were replaced.
That’s the only reason I did not give him a full 5 star review.

Wilmer was great. As an out of state buyer it's impossible for me to be at the inspection. Wilmer called me after the inspection as well as emailed me a detailed report. We "pulled the plug" on the deal but the thorough inspection saved me thousands and much grief

Just had Waypojnt inspect a property my wife and I are considering. These guys did an excellent job of meticulously checking every inch of the property and home along with storage sheds, dock and boat lift. They carefully explained their findings in a thorough and professional way making sure all the while that I understood what they were saying and asking if I had questions. They also helped me prioritize critical items versus those less important. I’d hire these guys again in a heartbeat.
